Stubbornly Heroic

Bec did Belvoir Castle triathlon today.  Completed the swim, 10km into the cycle got a puncture. Game over? no chance!  Bec somehow, I don't know how, but somehow cycled the remaining 30km with a flat, made it onto the 10k run and not only finished the race but finished 5th! Unfortunately I was not there as I had a hot date with Crewe Alex at Wembley.   She is understandably disappointed with her race being spoilt but how did she cycle all that way with a flat tyre? And still finish in 5th place overall?  I say she's heroic, she says she's stubborn.  Sometimes being stubborn is heroic.
