budget's barracks boost
Today's budget announced a pay freeze for all public sector workers with the exception of the military who are excempt and get a 1.5% salary increase. Nice! Obviously they deserve a pay rise more than anyone else for all their hard work fighting fruitless, unnecessary illegal wars in Afghanistan and assisting the US in killing 1 million Iraqis. I suppose we need to keep our army heroes sweet so that they don't ask too many questions when they get sent to Syria/Mali/Algeria or wherever the next imaginary terrorist threat rises from.
