build me up buttercup

all dj's are legally obliged to play 'build me up buttercup' at weddings.  its the law.  for many years now i have been very unhappy about this and shown my dislike by refusing to dance and in some cases leaving the room!  more recently however, and i dont know why this has happened but something has clicked and i think i now quite like the song, yep i even danced to it last friday night at Neel's wedding, and sang the words and enjoyed it.  i wasnt even particularly drunk.  crazy.
