Vintage photo's - The Green Album

At some point in time 30+ years ago these photos were taken.  I collected some old photo albums from the rents, and scanned some of the best ones, a few of the highlights are below and also click here for lots more. Just 15 more albums to go through.....shouldn't take long.....
These were the days before Rob and me had developed our skills of pulling silly faces which in years to come we refined into an art form, these may well be the last examples of a 'nice' Brand family photograph before the urge to spoil the scene with some daft gurning became too much to resist.

Techno House Rave Stomper

The long awaited DJ BOMBER album is finally here and jonny's brain has a world exclusive preview for you right here.  The first two tracks can be streamed and downloaded here for free!  The full album called THRSt (Techno House Rave Stomper) will be in circulation over the next few days as a free release on CD.  This is the first old skool mix since 'top one, nice one' all those years ago, an album that seeded the huge fan base of 10 or more that BOMBER has today and still grows despite him remaining anonymous.
Link to track1 and Link to track 2  and hopefully the player will be embedded for you below.....

watch ya bass bins i'm tellin ya

Full on Mask Hysteria has gotta be one of the best dance records of all time, right up there with Jilted Generation, Exit planet Dust and Homework.  Since I got the vinyl out of the loft last week the records that ignited my imagination the most were the old skool rave ones which led me to dig out the Altern 8 album I've spent all day listening to.  Initially you just remember the yellow dust masks and the "top one, nice one, get sorted" sample from Activ-8 but when you give the whole album a good listen you realise its a proper deep full on techno house rave masterpiece and that's all i need to say.

Say kids, what time is it?

Created a new clock today which I think looks absolutely mint!  I proudly hung it on the kitchen wall and thought that is so cool that surely Bec will approve.  Alas when she came home her first words were "that's not staying up there!"
