Malta Boy

So Rob was back over from Malta last week.  He's been living and working over there for 2 years now and with his 2 yearly or so visit back to the sunny resort of Crewe I probably see him more now than I ever used to.  It was good to see him (don't tell him that) and we probably get on better now than we used to (don't mention I said that either) with some relatively civilised conversation in between the usual silly nonsense of course.  We met Adam and Pricey in the Flying Lady on Wednesday, on Thursday went round to visit Scott and Nat and then round Jay's for a beer, Friday we watched a weird film, met Aunty Robyn and cousin Becky round at the parents and then set out on a glamorous pub crawl of Crewe with Adam.  The pub crawl if you can call it that started in The Borough Arms which I was surprised to find was extremely busy considering I always thought it was a bit of an old man's pub.  It soon became apparent why the pub was absolutely packed when I went to order a drink, possibly something to do with 4 very attractive, young, foreign barmaids, maybe a coincidence but probably not.  Next we went to The Hops for a ridiculously strong 11% beer and a game of jenga, left feeling rather light headed and nipped into the very empty and boring Duke of Bridgewater before finishing up in The Imperial.  Probably should have stayed in the Borough Arms being as it was the only busy pub in town but it was really hot and sweaty in there due to all the men rubbing their legs and we needed to cool down with some fresh air.
Having just seen Rob I started reading his blog, he's not updated it for 2 years but I found a bit describing a trip to Italy that I found very funny (definitely don't tell him I said that).
Here's an excerpt;
